The frame on this model is crafted from North American oak - a higher grade of timber than the usual Eastern Asian rubberwood often found on this style of frame. The American oak has a subtle and varied grain to the timber which gives a bespoke look to the frame as no two pieces of timber have the same grain pattern. The slats used on this frame will be pine.
We have the futon mattress made to our specification in a UK futon factory resulting in excellent quality and long life. Should you wish for a sprung cored mattress, you can upgrade the futon mattress to one using a pocket sprung core. The vogue futon is guaranteed to be a favourite for your unexpected guests !
