platinum sofabed - dismantling instructions

These sofabeds can easily be dismantled to make fitment into your chosen room easier.

Step 1

Slide out the seat section forwards and lift off from the storage box unit.

The storage box can now be removed by lifting the rear wheels off the metal runners attatched to the inside of the arms. The box is now free to come forward and out - take care not to catch the inside of the arms with the rear wheels.

Step 2

Stand the sofabed on one arm and by gaining access via the underside of the unit, remove 4 x cross headed screws indicated below and remove the metal runner.

Step 3

Remove 4 x hexagon headed bolts indicated below and the arm can be lifted off the main body. Repeat this operation to remove the remaining arm.

Step 4

Should the unit need to be dismantled further still, the back cushion assembly can now be removed by carefully lifting it off the body. Take great care not to mark the fabric when doing this. The remaining body will now look like this...

The dimensions of this unit are as follows - height of back - 74cm, depth of unit front to back - 77.5cm, width of unit for 2 seater model - 124cm / 2.5 seater model - 144cm.

Reassemble in reverse order with care.
